And we are done :)
I have been working on this project for about 2 months now and I am proud to say that I have finally completed it! It feels so nice to know i'm done and happy with what I have created. Here is my CCR where I analyze the entire creation process. Hope you guys enjoy and thank you for coming along with me creating my film opening!
This is my final post before my CCR and film opening are uploaded. I have officially filmed my CCR and am on the last step of editing. The editing is crucial for my CCR since I am sitting in front of my laptop talking. I plan to upload many images and examples of what I am talking about in the CCR Once it is edited and more interactive I will upload the final product and be done.
I am so excited to be beginning my final step. I feel so accomplished to be nearly complete. Thank you for coming along on the journey.
It was a longgggg process, but I really enjoyed it. I learned a lot about editing which will potentially help me in the future.
I am almost complete with my CCR script as well. I want to make sure I answer every aspect of the questions and cover all the information necessary. Next up I just have to film and edit it. Then my project will finally be complete.
So I finished filming and am a bit over halfway done with my editing. Editing is something I needed a lot of help with. I had one of my friends teach me how to use adobe premier to edit. I completed the montage already, which was probably the hardest to edit cause of the pacing. I think it came together well. Some of the footage I used wasn't intended for the film but ended up fitting it nicely.
I plan to use canva to put credits on the film opening after I finish editing the videos. I got all of my sounds off epidemic sounds. I was able to find a song that I liked and fit the montage.
I'm almost done editing and next is the script for my ccr. After that, I will film it and then we will come to the end with editing it. Who's excited?!
I have been debating this idea in my head for a bit, and I just can't drop the idea of opening with the sunrise. I think the film I got at the first one was okay, but I don't like it enough to include in my film. I want to go to the beach this weekend to reshoot, but if I do not have time I'll continue with the car scene as my opening. I hope I do get to it in time for editing.
One shot I got from the first time. (quality is uploading weird)I have not received an email back about the rights to my song choice, so I went with a different route of looking for a non-copyrighted song. I have been searching for a few days, but still haven't found the one I wanted. I don't think this is an issue, but it is a bit of a setback. I think I will find a song by next week, but i'll keep you guys updated on it.

I filmed the car window night scene yesterday. One of my friends drove the car and another filmed so it was not dangerous. I made sure I got a variety of shots to work with for my film. I'm going to try to edit it in tomorrow so I can make sure I do not have to reshoot.
The picnic scene was filmed today. I wanted it to be colorful so I went towards the end of the day and brought fruits and a colorful blanket as my props. I filmed at vista view park.
I had a friend film the scenes for me since I am a character in my film. Once I get through the montage filming the eding half of my opening will be easy to film and edit. I have been editing as I film to make it a quicker process.
I intended on filming the picnic scene today, but it got a bit complicated in my schedule. I ended up going to the beach and getting some film there instead. I hope to film the picnic scene within the next three days so I am prepared to edit in time for the due date.
I'm thinking of changing the introduction of the film to a driving scene rather than the sunrise. This is not 100% sure, but I feel like it would be a better addition to the film. Stay tuned to find out.
So today I filmed again and was able to get some driving footage. I also got pictures lol. I was able to get a few driving scenes, but I don't think I got what I wanted. There was too much motion that the recording did not come out well. I'm going to refilm some more tomorrow and hopefully do the picnic scene as well. The picnic scene should not be a long process because it is only for the montage. Anyway's I'll keep my blog updated.

ISo at this point in my project I have decided on an idea, created a storyboard (coming soon), started filming, and emailed for music rights. I wanted to outline what my future plan is.
1. Post storyboard
2. Start filming other scenes
3. Start editing
4. My reflection
I feel that I am on schedule to finish my project and everything in time. I know I'll stay on task with all the extras like my blog and filming because I already built a schedule for it. It is important that I stay at this rate because I want to have the project perfect before the deadline.
I know I said I would start filming next weekend, but I pushed it up to this one. Welcome to Production day one:)
My friends and I decided to go watch the sunrise this weekend, so I decided it was the perfect time to film my opening shot. The sunrise was beautiful, but I do wish it was less cloudy. Nothing a little editing can't brighten up. I was able to get some good shots of the sunrise, so I think the film opening will start great. Here is one.
